A New Zealand man has been convicted of selling the popular drug Viagra.
The man, who was found guilty of a total of five counts of selling the erectile dysfunction drug, has now pleaded guilty to a total of eight counts, the New Zealand Health Care Agency said yesterday.
He will be sentenced to a 12-month prison term, with a maximum possible fine of $1.5 million.
The case was transferred to the Auckland District Court on Wednesday after the New Zealand Health Care Agency announced a formal plea agreement with the United Kingdom-based firm which was involved in the scheme.
